This 19 night and 20 day package gives you an opportunity to experience different parts of Nepal, including a trek to Long Jomsom in the Annapurna region, a unique wildlife adventure in the Royal Chitwan National Park, the finest national park in Asia and sightseeing around the Pokhara and Kathmandu Valley’s, the enchanting home of 7 World Heritage Sites.

Day Two

7: 00 am Six hour drive to Pokhara, an enchanting Himalayan valley and a centre of adventure

4: 00 pm Sightseeing around Pokhara

Day Three

7: 00 am Drive to Phedi for the Long Jomsom trek. This trek starts with a climb up through forests and villages with attractive scenery of Naudanda at 1430m

Day Four  
6: 30 am Breakfast

 

7: 00 am Walking on along a ridge through the Khare villages at 1710m to Lumle and then Chandrakot. The trek twists sharply down into the Modi Khola ravine, through oak and rhododendron forest to the village of Birethante at 1065m.

Day Five    
6: 30 am Breakfast  
7: 00 am The first hour of the day is a slow walk through a wide variety of forests and along the bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The start of the climb goes up gradually to Tirkedhungha 1525m, then a steeper climb up stone steps to Ulleri 2070m.

Day Six

7: 00 am A small climb through oak and rhodadendron forests and settlements to Ghorepani 2775m, which lies in a clearing below a pass at Deouraly

Day Seven  
6: 30 am Breakfast
7: 00 am A long walk down hill through oak and rhododendron forests with superb Himalayan scenery, passed several villages to Chitre 2390m.

Day Eight    
6: 30 am Breakfast  
7: 00 am Walking up from a Deourali shelter through oak and rhododendron forests to the top of the ridge and then through coniferous forests to another Deourali shelter before climbing down through more forests to join the river of Chitre. Continue to descend through the fertile and cultivated Ghar Khola valley, passing through the Sikha and Ghara villages at 1705m. This trail passes through spectacular country to Tatopani, a pretty village renowned for its hot spring.

Day Nine  
6: 30 am Breakfast
7: 00 am On to Ghasa, the trail passes through the narrowest and steepest part of the Kali Gandaki gorge and coniferous and broadleaved forests. This additional and extensive walk displays the landscape at its most striking and the villages are beautiful.

Day Ten

7: 00 am A day of steady up hill climbing through coniferous forests to Lete 2470m, and on through villages on the flat river terrace to Kalopani 2530m

Day Eleven  
6: 30 am Breakfast
7: 00 am A flat gentle walk along the Kali Gandaki graveled river bed, which stretches beyond Jomsom. The river is known as Thak Khola and provides an easy walk although the strong cold, dusty wind can blow from the north in the early morning.

Day Twelve    
6: 30 am Breakfast  
7: 00 am An early morning start through dry nearly treeless, semi desert with some scrubs, following the river valley through Jomsom at 2715m. Some fantastic scenery can be seen on the way to the fascinating village of Kagbeni

Day Thirteen  

 

6: 30 am Breakfast  
7: 00 am Proceed to Jomsom dropping down through the forests and villages with plenty of beautiful Himalayan scenery and superb villages along the way

6: 30 pm Dinner at the hotel
   
Day Fourteen  
6: 30 am Breakfast
7: 00 am Flight back to Pokhara  
8: 30 am Check in at hotel in Pokhara, followed by leisure time

Day Fifteen

7: 00 am Six hour drive to Royal Chitwan National Park a World Heritage Site and land of the rhino, renowned for the protection of endangered wildlife and offering a fantastic jungle adventure.
12: 00 Noon Check in at hotel, Refresh, lunch and rest

 

3: 00 pm Village tour and visit to the elephant breeding center.
5: 30 pm Sunset views from river bank with drink.
6: 30 pm Dinner at hotel
   
Day Sixteen    
6: 30 am Breakfast  
7: 00 am A half a day excursion, canoeing trip and jungle walk exploring the jungle and riverine grassland in search of various wildlife including the endangered greater one-horned rhino and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger
12: 00 Noon Exciting new addition to the program, bathing with the Elephants  
1: 00 pm Lunch at hotel  
2: 30 pm Elephant back safari ride penetrating through the jungle in search of wildlife including monkey, wild boar, deer, as well as rhino, bear and tiger.
5: 30 pm Sunset view from river bank with drink  
6: 30 pm Dinner followed by a special dance performed by indigenous Tharu people
     
Day Seventeen

7: 00 am Six hour drive back to the Kathmandu Valley

4: 00 pm Sightseeing visit to the Syambhunath a World Heritage Site and the holiest Buddhist Stupa in the Katmandu Valley
