Trip to Tansen situated at an altitude of 1,343m. Tansen is the most popular destination for viewing Himalayan scenery as well as historical and religious monuments. Due to its location Tansen has the best position and climate for observing Nepal' s most famous attraction the Himalaya. Prior to the unification of Nepal under the Shahs, Tansen was the capital of the Palpa Kingdom, and was ruled by the Sen Dynasty.

Drive to the Devghat. This is said to be the tourist destination or ' Deva-Utta' of Hindu gods by the Varaha Purana and the Sapta-Rishis (great 7 sages). Deaughat is located at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trisuli Rivers. It is believed that whoever takes bath at this holy place or offers worship will be excused any sins, and women will be blessed with beauty and a happy married life. Vashistha's cave and the crevasse of Sita can be seen from Deaughat. It is here, where mother earth is believed to have split open to take the Goddess Sita to her bosom. Lord Rama and his brothers were educated here in Vashistha's gurukula

Six hour drive to the Janakpure the land of the Goddess Sita. Janakpure is a great Hindu religious site due to its role in the famous Hindu epic the Ramayana and it is the birth place of Sita as well as the place of her marriage to Rama. The Janakpure is situated in Eastern Nepal and was once the Kingdom of Mithila.
